Hi
I might be not very original thanking You… You probably got used to that :) but, anyway…few days ago one of my friends told me to check David Garrett on youtube…I wasn’t a huge fan of violin…(my Mother was). But I’ve checked. Next morning (sunday) I showed my Mom some of youtube films and we were listening with our hearts touched (unexpected, for my self). I could not sit and watch or listen because I had to learn to pass exam on tuesday. But when I was going to exam, I turned on your music, I was smiling to my self and felt full of energy (I said to my self that you will be my amulet ;) ) . I was happy inside, with no worries. Today I got my grade – I only wanted to pass it somehow and got 4,5 what means that I wasn’t that bad (better is only 5)..not so perfect anyway but much better than I expected. So, from this moment, you will be with me (rather your music of course than you your self) in every serious moments and I have to find a way to see you LIVE. (Please consider coming to Poland – Germany is not that far anyway).
Have a nice day, keep playing and bringing luck and joy to all the people and remember that you have anew fan in Poland (maybe even more than one;) )
Regards
Evelina
Hi David!
I have been very ill for some time and spent ten years on a ventilator and in a wheelchair. Though I was not expected to live this long, I have been blessed to survive Systemic Lupus/Polymiositis and it’s many complications (including lung/heart failure and paralysis). I am currently out of the wheelchair and walking, and I have returned to my profession of nursing, taking care of others. After going through a terrible depression after my husband left, taking everything in my life including my two children, I found music to be healing in every aspect of my being. I literally started over with nothing but a wheelchair, a portable ventilator, and a broken neck after I was brutally attacked and left for dead near the Mexican border. Medical experts cannot believe I crawled through a dessert that way, so far, and survived what I had to endure. Though I have never found my children and grieve for them daily, I have grown spiritually through listening to music. A recent incurable heart tumor has caused heart/lung failure and the rest of my body to slowly shut down. After seeing you last year on Dancing with the Stars, your beautiful music captured my heart, and seeing you play live was at the top of my “Bucket List.” I drove a great distance to see you in Chicago recently, and I was totally mesmerized when I heard you play. I never knew a violin could sound so beautiful. You are truly a very talented and gifted man. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world, for inspiring others, and for making one of my dreams come true. Keep on playing, David!
Love and Blessings,
Jewel
Hey you “Bada*s Violinist”!! David Garrett: What I’m about to say are all my thanks to you. Thank you for smiling when you play, it made me want to sing and play the piano again… When I’m listening to your albums your smile comes to my mind and reminds me that it was hard work sometimes but the way it brings a smile to one’s face is something out of this world! Thank you for reminding me that I once was like you so original and extravagant –back to my old self again :) ! You brought the child that was deep inside of me to the surface… And I have this feeling that younger people will come to listen to you more and more as you so want to! Blessed be! And if you happen to get emotional and cry may your tears turn to diamonds, “Senhor Virtuoso”!!! Hugs from Portugal! ;)

SUMMER, ASTURIA, my favorites from your R/S concert. Listened to them like zillion times.
David, like everyone else who hears the sweet sound of your violin when you play, I am mesmerized and transformed to that magical world that only music can bring me to. While watching you play Adagio in Berlin, I noticed a couple in the audience that look at you with such adulation and appreciation that looks different to me than the rest of the appreciative looks in the crowd. It speaks of pride and a deeper connection. Could they be your parents by chance? I cannot wait for your next performance in Northern California. Hopefully you will play in San Francisco sometime soon?? I am grateful for your great gift of musical ability, and most of all . . . for your drive and passion to play and perform that enables and motivates you to express it to all of us:) ~ Cindy
Went to the Chicago show and it was awesome. This was the first time seeing David play and I know it won’t be the last.
Is there any chance that a concert can be in Turkey?
Thanks you very much for your help Birgit! have a nice WE :) best regards- Josette
Hi Jozy,
Please use the address for fan-mail in Berlin (here under contact).
Hello Birgit,
You seem to give answer to David’s fans so I have a question: I have a little “Thank you present” for David that I would like to send, maybe not when he’s is in the US but more when he comes to Europe (I live in Denmark and i met him personaly in december in Copenhagen :). Which adress should I use to be sure the enveloppe goes to the right adress and that he can receive it? Thank you. Best regards. Josette
Hey David! I wanted to write to let you know that I am an attorney and live in Houston, TX. I took my first vacation in nearly five years just to see you perform in Reno, NV last Friday night. It took me nearly fourteen hours to fly to Reno, given the weather conditions and fire at Mount Rose. Although my trip to and from Reno was absolutely miserable, you and your band were absolutely phenomenal and were the highlight of my vacation! I played violin and piano for about ten years, but never thought that a violin could sound so good! Thank you for an absolutely wonderful concert and evening! I hope to see you again soon. Please come to Houston, TX! Thanks.
hello
I am absolutely in love with your skills, but I was very unfortunate not to see you play last time you were in UK. I checked the future dates but your tour dates don’t seem to include UK. Do come back you are brilliant :)
Hi..Ive just watched the Rock Symphoniesconcert in Berlin on DVD. It’s really awesome! if only I understand the German language he spoke cos the audience had a lot of fun laughing away! ;) Keep up the great work!

I AM SO EXCITED TO BE COMING TO THE WASHINGTON CONCERT ON 2/3. WILL THERE BE AN AUTOGRAPH SESSION? I REALLY, REALLY WANT TO MEET HIM. THANKS!
Hello Enick,
Please check the gallery on this website for David’s new merchandise. Meet-and-Greet tickets for this concert were offered by the local PBS station.
Hey David; I want to let you know that you have inspired me to make and produce my own album. I have been playing the violin now for 13 years (I’m 16 years old) and I discovered you a couple years back. I can play all of the songs that are on Rock Symphonies and some of the songs on Encore. I am seeking a record deal as a violin soloist like you right now and I am attempting to break your record as worlds fastest violinist in a couple of weeks. Thank you for everything man, you really inspired me to love my violin. Thanks again. (ps come to Hartford CT!!)
We are so excited to be coming to your Chicago 8:00pm show on the 28th! We are wondering what will be available for sale as well as if we would be able to get David’s autograph on items that we purchase at the Chicago Theater?
