I just attended the concert in Seattle, WA it was phenomenal! Absolutely best concert I have ever seen, can’t wait until David passes through Seattle again. I was also wondering if there is anyway we could get a recording of this show, that would be fantastic!!! Thanks again for a great show :)
A thousand thank yous to you David & your outstanding band for rocking our world last Sunday in Seattle. We were treated to new music, revealing personal stories & some stand up comedy?? Really David is there anything you don’t do exceptionally well? Your band delievered not only perfect accompaniment but entertaining solos as well. We were particularly impressed by your version of Coldplay, most pleasantly suprised by your foray into R&B & are still singing We Will Rock You @ the time of this posting. We are already anxious to see you live in concert again. Please return as soon as your busy schedule allows. Until then we are enjoying the DVD. BRAVO Gentlemen!!!
Hello David and your team,
First I would like to say , Happy Chinese New Year ! 新年快乐
Last December I left a comment here, wishing a concert in Shanghai, China would come ASAP.
I checked out your schedule and found most of your concerts were hold in European and U.S.A, and therefore I assumed there might be still a long time before you come to East Asia, my hometown Shanghai.
Today I visit your official website as usually and totally to my surprise, there will be a concert in Shanghai this February. That’s really quite an exciting news for me and for all those fans here! I just couldn’t believe the day comes so soon!!!
Though the classical music didn’t originate in Asia, there are still a mount of Chinese like me prefer music, especially classical music , to songs. As the European classical music had appeal for me first, then I got to know David Garrett and his wonderful music. David is really a genius in music and so are his band who add so much energetic elements into traditional form. I almost forget where I knew about David Garrett, but I still can refresh from my memory the first time I deeply enjoyed his music.
Representing the classical music in creative way is the great thing David and his band are doing. And that’s the most attractive side of his music!
BTW, the details on the schedule seems to imply David’s band won’t come together to Shanghai this February. If so that’s a bit unfortunate….
Anyway, thank you the team and David for the concert in Shanghai. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
The day finally comes.
Best regards,
Sally Tang
I just went to David’s concert in Seattle, WA. It was AMAZING!!! to say the least. Great band and great performance! Will there be a live recording of it for purchase? It was a very memorable evening!
Dear Mr. Garret
When are you coming to Australia?!?!
Please, please, come to Holland.
I beg of you, honestly, I’d love to see a performance by you!
But I don’t have the money to travel to Germany, or else I definitely would…
Please, onegai dakara, come to the Netherlands… If only once, for one performance..
I can not believe I am going see David in Edmonton! Flying there from Ontario! cost 2.000$ but I love music and David Garrett so it is totally worth it!
David
Caught your amazing show at the Nokia Club in LA on 1/18. The more I see you the more mesmerized I am by your music. I was surprised at your new show. So different than when you were in London. Loved the last piece with “We Will Rock You”. Cant wait to see you in Germany.
Hugs, Conijai
AND MEXICO WHEN? PLEASE COME TO MEXICO
Just went to the concert at Club Nokia in LA last night and it was fantastic! Your music reaches right into the soul and makes a person feel moved. You are amazing. Thanks for the greatest evening. Please remember for 2013 to come back to anywhere in So Cal and my family will be there.
My husband and I saw David’s Los Angeles (Jan 18) concert for the first time. You and your and rock! You have 2 new fans. We’re looking forward to see you again, either in the US or Europe. Thanks for a great show.
Hi David!
Your fans in Estonia waiting your concert so much:Please!
Saw David’s concert in Mesa, AZ. I’m a 5th generation musician, and music educator, and as all the other musicians in my family, am slowly loosing my hearing. If David’s concert was the last thing I ever heard, I would go deaf a happy person. Thank you David! It’s awesome to know that a classical musician can also love Metallica! I’m with you all the way on the cross over idea. Please keep it up!
David Garrett you’re awesome! We need you here in Brazil!!
I have a 10 year old boy. Angus has been playing Suzuki for four years. David is his idol! He wants to be like him when he grows up. This will be his first time seeing him. He would love to meet him! We are flying in for the Reno show. Maybe next time he could come to Boise. We are so very excited to watch him play! Bis Freitag!
I just wanted to to say how much I LOVE your music. I think you are an extraordinary violinist! I also play the violin, you are actually the one who inspired me to start playing, i’m not great, but i hope one day i’ll be able to play atleast half as good as you.. I was hoping to go to your concert in the US this January on the 28th, but unfortunately i can’t afford it. I hope i get the chance to meet you someday though! -Kailah
Rock Symphonies ! Best album I have ever listened to . Come to Perth, Australia !!!!
To the folks from Brazil, I just wanted to say “Thank you” for motivating me to see David in concert later this month in Seattle, Washington.
I live in Montana and was hesitating as to whether I wanted to spend the extra money for airfare and car rental to see David in concert. When I saw your posts about wanting him to come to Brazil, I realized how fortunate I am that he’s coming as close as he is that I’ll be able to see him.
In 1983, I was an exchange student to Aachen, Germany and took my violin with me that summer to practice. It’s so funny for me to think that while I was there practicing my violin, there was a little boy in Aachen who would go on to become such a great violinist and innovative performer! I’m sure on the 22nd, I’ll be thinking fondly of my summer in Aachen and enjoying a fantastic concert.
So, thanks again to those of you from other parts of the world for reminding me how lucky I am that his concert tour is bringing him as close to Montana as it is.
There’s a concert in Germany on my birthday and I’m only free in November…
It is promised as a birthday gift but i’m not sure i’ll get there on the 23rd :(
But I’ll try to be there anyway or maybe earlier who knows?
Hello Deadeyes,
David is performing in Sicily on 20th May.
