David is back in the US and will perform a 1-hour showcase in his hometown New York on Thursday, July 25, 2013 in the Club “Le Poisson Rouge”.

Listen to tracks from his Album “Music”, which will be released in the US on July 30, 2013.
Especially for the US-Album, David has arranged “Bring me to Life” and will perform the song on stage with Sydnee Duran.

David Garrett is excited to introduce his Israel-Tour with the prestigious Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. He will perform 6 concerts in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa under the conductorship of Zubin Mehta.

He will be accompanied by the prestigious Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano „Giuseppe Verdi“ under the conductorship of John Axelrod.

Sold-Out Awards für David Garrett

David delights 7500 audience members with his open-air “Music”-concert in front of castle Tüßling. On 16th May he was given the sold-out award out of the hands of Wolfgang Altmüller, chairman of the Raiffeisenbank Altötting-Mühldorf and Countess Stephanie Bruges von Pfuel.

David was also given the the Sold-Out Award of the SAP-Arena in Mannheim for the fourth time. Hanni Dörr (SAP-Arena) presented the award after his concert. The photo shows David with Manfred Hertlein and Jörg Kollenbroich.

SHOP OPENING: THOMAS SABO LOVES VIENNA

Vienna, April 25, 2013 – THOMAS SABO invited the Austrian press, friends of the company and VIPs to the exclusive press opening event at his flagship store in Vienna’s Seilergasse. With exceptional attention to detail and drawing on international design codes, the most important THOMAS SABO store in Vienna has now had a complete makeover. On this special evening, company founder Thomas Sabo and his wife Luz-Enith welcomed brand ambassadors David Garrett and Nico Rosberg as the guests of honour. Presenter Verena Wriedt explained the special features of the new shop design to the around 200 guests. The entire store is a veritable treasure trove showcasing the natural interaction of exquisite materials: elegant real-wood furniture, hand-crafted chandeliers, exclusive crown moulding, vintage chests and armchairs along with an artisanal tiled floor. The around 20-metre-long red carpet welcomed VIPs to the new THOMAS SABO store, with the celebrities including Stephanie Stumph, Alexandra Polzin and Lilian Klebow. Wowed by the new look, the guests were treated to a private concert by David Garrett, who – just like Thomas Sabo – has a very personal relationship with the city of Vienna.

Company founder Thomas Sabo describes his passion: “When we opened this store back in 2007, it was clear to us that we were privileged to be able to tap into something with very special potential here in Vienna and in my country of birth, Austria. After more than five years, the time had come to give this important store a makeover. We are extremely happy with the result and are looking forward to wowing many customers in the future.”

David announces Classical Tour for 2014

David’s Bruch and Brahms tour is starting today but he is already announcing a new, terrific classical tour for 2014 with a stunning programme.
David will be performing Antonio Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” together with works by Niccolò Paganini, he partially arranged by himself. He will be
accompanied by the prestigious Verbier Festvial Orchestra.

The New Album “14″ is released soon!

David releases his new album 14, he recorded as a teenager in year 1995, now for the first time on April 02, 2013.

“For me personally, ‘14’ is the link between the recordings I made as a child and the albums I’m now making in adult life. I’m delighted that the CD is coming out after so many years because to some degree, it pulls together the story of my life.”

Conceived as a virtuoso recital, ‘14′ showcases the quite sensational technique and musicality of the youngest artist ever to record for Deutsche Grammophon. The album takes listeners on a voyage into the musical past of the violinist and five-time ECHO prize winner who set out to bring classical music to a young audience – and who has done more than anyone else in recent times to rejuvenate the classical scene.
